18 Months: Goldfish Class, Duckling Class and Ladybug Class

12 children, 2 teachers per class

Curriculum: Toddler Experience

As children construct knowledge through everyday experiences, we use our tools to help extend their learning as they explore the classroom, community, and diverse, beautiful world around them.

Play: Some of the most important learning our children do is through the social interaction and negotiation of center-based play.

Please bring a pack of diapers, wipes and any creams your child may need. Be sure all items are clearly labeled. 

Two Years:  Butterfly Class and Frog Class

13 children, 2 teachers per class

Three Years: Giraffe Class and Monkey Class

16 children, 2 teachers per class

Curriculum: Mother Goose Time, Frog Street Press and  Handwriting Without Tears

“Mother Goose Time” allows children to construct knowledge through everyday experiences, we use our tools to help extend their learning as they explore the classroom, community, and diverse, beautiful world around them.

“Frog Street Press” teaches letters and sounds through singing. Each letter has a song and throughout the song, many things, places and names that start with the letter of the week.

“Handwriting Without Tears” provides important developmental skills including language proficiency, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, color and shape awareness, letter and number recognition, and counting.

—Show and Share—

Every week our 3s classes have Show and Share, where children bring anything that begins with the letter of the week. We encourage creativity, as this is one of our favorite days.

Pre-K:  Tiger Class and Hippo Class

18 children, Two teachers per class

Curriculum: A Beka Book – A Kindergarten Readiness Program

A Beka teaches basic reading skills using an intensive phonics approach. Students are taught to read with a systematic, step-by-step reading plan based upon the sounds of each letter. This gives students a solid foundation for developing exceptional reading skills.

Math time emphasizes the basics in counting, number recognition, and number concepts through coloring pages and activities.

Character training is another emphasis of A Beka; through colorful visuals, students will learn about character traits along with Amber Lamb. These will then be re-emphasized throughout the week as a way to influence behavior.

—Show and Share—

Every week our 4s classes have Show and Share, where children bring an item or toy of their choosing to tell the class about. We encourage creativity, as this is one of our favorite days.
