Welcome to St. Martin’s!
We’re excited you want to learn more. Below, you can find answers to questions about our worship opportunities, get information about what to expect with your first visit, and connect with a ministry. Have more questions? Fill out the contact form, and we’ll get back to you promptly.
What Can I Expect?
When you visit St. Martin’s Ev Lutheran Church, you can expect to encounter a warm, welcoming fellowship that will embrace you as a visitor with a desire to get to know you and support you as one who is seeking the Lord.
St. Martin’s is a place of connection and encouragement. And it is a place of choices. We offer diverse worship experiences featuring contemporary or classical music, and our membership ranges from youth to seniors who bring their own energy and perspective to every service.
Most of all, you can expect to be accepted for who you are and where you are on your spiritual journey. We are an inclusive fellowship that values each person, the gifts they possess and the possibilities they present to make all our lives better.
How Should I Dress?
Ours is not a formal gathering, and we want our members and visitors to be comfortable. You won’t see a lot of coats and ties. Just let your dress reflect the fact that you are entering a house of worship where God is glorified.
What About Childcare?
St. Martin’s loves children and families. Children are welcome at St. Martin’s, and our programs are designed to help start them on a path to having a close relationship with the Lord. Attended childcare is available during worship services.
What If I Can’t Hear Well?
We understand that many suffer from some degree of hearing loss. You will be pleased to learn that St. Martin’s provides hearing aids that amplify the volume of spoken words and music and will help ensure you fully experience the service.
Interested in membership at St. Martin’s?
St. Martin’s is a wonderful place with a long history. But what makes it special are the people who make it family. People like you! We’re glad you’re here, and we’d love to have you join us as a member.
It just takes two…
Two Sundays and you’ll be a member at St. Martin’s!
First, join us for a new member class where you’ll learn more about the history of St. Martin’s, opportunities for involvement, and get to meet Pr. Pete, volunteers, and your fellow new members. Classes meet in the Parlor between services or following late worship.
Then the following week you’ll be received as members during worship and invited to a New Member Luncheon following the service where we’ll share in food and fellowship. You’ll get to hear from members of St. Martin’s staff and volunteers in various ministries about how they came to St. Martin’s, what they do here, and why they love this church family.
We look forward to seeing you at our next class!
