God loves you and takes care of you, the Holy Spirit lives within you, and is with you forever.  This is the message that is shared at Sunday School.  Children and Family Home Worship page provides resources for families to extend this message in your home.  This is a fluid resource and will be updated regularly. This resource is especially valuable during the absence of regular Sunday Worship at the church.

Sunday School Classes

2-3 Year old Class – The wee worshipers learn stories from the Old Testament in the fall and the New Testament in the winter and spring.  The class engages the children with songs, stories, prayer and facilitated play.  The lessons are from the Frolic Curriculum created for the youngest worshipers.

Pre-K-2nd Class- The primary class walk in wonder with Godly Play. What is Godly Play?  Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play.  Storytellers are Margret Felger and Jackie Chuter.

3rd-5th Grade Class- The third through fifth grade class continue their faith journey using the Spark Lectionary Curriculum.  The Sunday school lessons connect kids with Bible stories heard in worship. Children engage with the Bible story with lessons packed with activities, interactive games, and creative crafts.  Guides for this class are Linda Zander and Tim Fackler.

3rd –5th grades also participate in JAM!, Jesus and Me.  This social-service group gathers  once a month  for activities.
